Seeking to broaden her expertise, she moved to the United States to earn an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management. This pivot shifted her focus to human resources, where she developed innovative HR strategies for prominent companies, including the toy industry leader Mattel, Inc., and the gaming giant Riot Games, Inc. Upon returning to Japan, Erika took a leadership role in talent management at Geometry Ogilvy Japan, part of the WPP Group, the world's largest advertising conglomerate. Her rich blend of global perspective in HR expertise culminated in 2020 when she co-founded Sollective K.K. with Allen, uniting their diverse experiences and visions in a groundbreaking venture.

An alumnus of the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a Design degree, began his career at the renowned digital agency AKQA in San Francisco in 2011, contributing to high-profile projects for clients such as Google, YouTube, and Microsoft Xbox. His journey took a new turn in 2014 when he joined Siberia NY, a product design consultancy, and in 2016, he ventured to Germany to play a pivotal role in establishing their Berlin office. Allen's adventurous spirit led him to Japan during a motorcycle trip to Hokkaido, where he fell in love with the culture and decided to make it his home. In Japan, his path crossed with Erika at Geometry Ogilvy Japan. This meeting sparked a new venture, leading to the founding of Sollective K.K. in 2020, where they blend their vast experiences and unique perspectives.
